Sorry it's been so long. I have been one stressed cookie.

The past few days have not been very boring however. I'll start on Tuesday, since that was when all the madness began.

Well, its Tuesday evening about 4:30 and I am sitting in the living room and I think I hear my phone vibrating in the room down the hall. How I heard that, I have no clue. So I get up and walk in there and of course it really was ringing and it was Derrick. I knew he had been working over the past couple of days because he was so busy at work. Well, he had already called twice and I thought something was up. So I try to call him back and I can't get him. I knew then that something wasn't right. When I finally get a hold of him he's pretty much panting. and growling. lol (not funny.) All I can make sense of is.. "Tristan I hurt my hand. I hurt it bad. I don't know how bad but it hurts so bad I can barely talk." Oh dear. So I try to ask him more questions and figure out whats going on and how bad it is and the kid can barely talk all he's saying is pray. pray. pray. So I head to my praying spot and barely murmur one, I'm so worried at this point. So I call his mom and ask if she's heard from him and of course he had failed to call his momma so I had to be the one to tell her his hand is crushed but I don't know how bad or what is going on. So after a little while I call him back and Bro. Michael had gotten there and they were going to Scottsboro Er. so I headed out. It took what seemed like forever to get there but once I did and headed back there with his mom I saw him layin there in the hospital bed and he squeezed out a smile. I love his smile (: We started asking him about it and at that time he didn't really know how bad it was. So we sat and waited. His mom left in a bit to go out and talk to the people in the waiting room and Derrick started telling me how bad it hurt and everything. I could see the tips of his fingers because they had already wrapped the others up and I could tell it was not a pretty sight. I just kept telling him not to look at them. lol  Time rocked on and he went back for xrays and soon we found out that his middle finger is crushed. No work for a while and that is def. not what we wanted to hear seeing that we're getting married in less than 3 months now. But I know that the Lord will come through and help us and supply us with what we need. He is always there for us and I could never praise him enough.

Wednesday after school I was heading out to see my little bum handed fellow and he texts me to tell me that Stew (his brother) was in a car wreck. Thankfully they were all ok but the car is not that pretty. But thankfully they're all ok (: The family was a little shaken up but things could have been so much worse.

Derrick's dad said they were all just going to stay home and in the bed on Thursday so nothing else happened (:

Thursday we went to Stevenson and it was good (:

Friday we went to Hytop for their singing. I had to drive cause bum-hand can't. But that's ok (: Singing was good.

Yesterday we went to Chattanooga to pick out tuxes (: after about 6 hours or more we decided what we were going to get and went back to Derrick's house and laid around and watched football and ate til time to go to church and went back to Stevenson. It was a good testifying service and I enjoyed it so much (:

Today I'm about to get ready for church! We're going to Higdon I reckon unless Derrick has a change of mind (: Haven't been out there and I'm looking forward to it for some reason (: I have to leave in a little over an hour and I haven't stared getting ready yet. My life is great (:

Next Sunday, Oct. 16 is our shower at Griffin (: Can't wait!

We have 89 more days til the wedding and it could not get here soon enough. I love Derrick with all my heart, he's my dearest friend, and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together!

Yes. I just checked and we STILL have 107 days left. Not as lucky and my dear Kylee and Erik...but we're getting there (super slowly)! Wedding plans are kinda...well...NOT moving. haha! I haven't done anything towards the wedding in .... a.long.time. I guess I feel like if I don't plan...it will somehow hurry up and get it. But so far that method hasn't worked. lol (:  But, on one hand it feels super crazy that me and Derrick are about to become HUSBAND and WIFE!!! (: ahh! I can not wait til we are one. I have NO idea what I would do without him. He is seriously always there for me. Any time I need him. And I love it (: I love him (: and I'm so thankful God have him to me (: Thanks, God.


I feel like these next 3.5 months are going to be hard. School is seriously so hard right now. I have 4 classes that like to produce homework/projects/tests at the same time! It seems like I always have something due. Oh wait. I do. lol I have a test on Beowulf tomorrow. And I have to write a resume for him. dumb, i know. Someone in my class said this is their favorite book. I'm thinking he was probably more than likely high when he said it.

Well. Trailer is still looking like it did 2 months ago. (Tristan- do you EVER do anything productive?) We've been waiting on it to get cooler. Uh huh. Now it is and we still haven't worked on it. haha Well wait a minute. Before Derrick flips...He did work on it the other day. (he pulled up staples. i know i know, but don't tell him that was nothing major) And his mom caulked the walls? I took the ACT. four hours of my life wasted. This saturday is Stew's birthday party. Yes you should come (: it will probably  be fun, but i know there will be food (: so yea, its a good idea. Next saturday i am having a yard sale. Praise Jesus maybe I can get rid of some of the JUNK i've collected since I can remember. lol

We've been looking at places to stay for our honeymoon and I'm excited. (:

I feel like I'm going to have like the longest testimony ever after I finish this semester. The Lord has really helped me SO much already and we have like 3 more months left. Eeek.

I feel like I'm just rambling now.

I do believe that we are having a shower in October at Griffin. Then one at Stevenson in November. Mom said that things really set in when you start having showers. And i really hope she's right. Sometimes I just sit there and its like a lightbulb goes off and I'm like "man! I'm getting married!!!!" (: You'd  think it would kick in after 5 months of being engaged...but not really. haha (:

Yes, I really am only rambling now, but I don't anything interesting going on right now that yall want to hear.

Oh! I did have to go all the way to Northgate this morning BY MYSELF! to get a stinking SHOT! and drive back by myself. and the Lord helped me there too. seriously. It was amazing (: guess you just had to be there.

ok..if you read this..your a trooper and you seriously need a badge.

Hello everyone (:
  Hope yall are having a wonderful Labor day! (: For me, its raining cats&dogs out there. I keep sneezing and my nose is runnin. My hair looks crazy. I'm super tired and Derrick is about to come over (: its great. (: Actually we're going to Chattanooga to get his wedding band!!!!!!! (: I am sooo exited! We went Wednesday night and picked it out and we both love it (: Just one more step closer to him being my husband. (: Its a great great feeling.

   Wedding planning is terrible though. lol I just wasn't made to be a fiance I don't guess. I hate everything about the whole wedding planning thing actually. And this semester is haaaaard. I have 4 hard classes. Well actually one extremely hard hard hard class. one class that I'm always having to write a paper for or do research for. one class that should be easy but i can't seem to do good on the tests to save my life. then one class that is super easy but i'm always having to study which isn't my strong point. lol BUT thankfully it will be over at Christmas and next semester is as easy as it gets. I have a class where I go to the elementary school, a  family and parenting class, a Bible class, then psychology which will be the hardest of all them, but I think I will enjoy it. I will also be married!!!! (: 4 months from tomorrow. Yes it's getting here (:

   We are waiting for cooler weather to arrive before we start painting/laying floor in our home. Dying from paint fumes and heat does not sound too appealing right now. (: but I am beyond excited to see it all come together. We bought (when I say we I mean Derrick. lol ) and small 2 bedroom 1 bath trailer. It needed some work but as far as we know, nothing we can't tackle (: Its cozy and I love it. Stew is convinced that he is getting his own room and he wants it painted green. Our shower curtain has green polka dots and i told him thats as close as it gets (: he's a good little brother. (:

   I've started us a registry now but its sooo overwhelming. I really need to start getting all of our showers together and invitations and such but its so hard with school going on at the same time. I am going to try to meet with Miss Lex tonight to look at some invites (: can't wait.

  Like I said earlier, we're about to leave to go get his ring then come back to go to a Labor Day party at his church (: I love his church. I'm not sure how long thats going to last, then hopefully come back and go visit lex (: Then school tomorrow. JOY. And I haven't slept at all hardly all weekend! so yes I'm sitting here with my eyes slightly closed (: so I'm not sure how much of this will make sense (:

Well...

    Sorry guys but it's obvious that I am NO good at this blogging stuff! The last time I blogged was... the 2nd?!? Well it's now the 8th! and I'm sorry (: I need more motivation..

   This weekend was kind of an eventful one (for me! again my life is slooooowwww sometimes). It was Griffin's regular. Saturday morning I rolled outta bed and got ready and went to Chattanooga with my mom, mawmaw, Regina, and Chelsea. On our way to Chatt I had to stop and get gas. My sweet sweet fiance texts me and says he's getting gas at Raceway (he was on his way to a family thing at Fall Creek Falls that mom wouldn't let me go to :( ). Well..I look up at the sign and whatdoyasay! I'm standing at Raceway! (: (: (:  (It was just like a movie) So I start walking and looking for him and I see this oh so handsome man wearing a green plaid shirt and some jeans, oh yeah..that's my almosthusband (: I start walking towards him and he sees me.. We pretty much stare into each other's eyes and walk to each other (just like in movies except WE DIDN'T KISS. and it wasn't on the beach. bummer). I can't remember what he said I was too concerned about how stinkin' hot this guy looks! whoa buddy. So then I see the rest of his family and wipe the drool off my face ;) I didn't really but it probably would have been a good idea ;) (I reallllly like plaid shirts! ;)

    So after we visit for a little while, and talk to Lauren and Kyle about why we can't get married right now...(did I REALLY have to wait to be born in 1994? rats.) it's time that I go on my merry way to Chattanooga. without Derrick. missing out on his family reunion/decoration. Maybe next year (:  I get back to my car and realize that I stayed in there for close to 30 mins. just a talkin to my future family (: I love those people! (including you Lauren) (: (:

    We arrived at David's Bridal and Chelsea was my wonderful model and we found a few dresses that we liked. We then went to eat at Amigo's which was fantastic! mmmm! then went to the fabric store. We found a pattern for the girl's dresses (: but no material that i loved :( So we went all the way BACK from where we came from and went to Hobby Lobby! oh dear...hobby lobby again (: i love that store I tell you! There we found a few things for the wedding (on sale whoop whoop!) and got beautiful purple material! YAY! (: i love it. The bridesmaids' dresses are being made and around $100 is being saved! Go Thrifty Bride Named Tristan! (:

    After that...well...I can't remember for sure but I think we went home (: It was near church time so we got ready and went! Derrick got caught in traffic on his way home and couldn't make it back in time. tear. Oh well. I know where his heart was at! (: (Fantasy Football! ;) jk) Church was really good! (: after that I went to a restaurant called Taco Mamacita! with Amber, Brett, Hilary, Mackenzie, Caleb, Alicia, and JMac. I missed Derrick soooooooo bad. Numerous times Brett looked at me and was like "you gotta cheer up!" lol hey i can't help that i love him (: It was pretty good! I had a ton of food left over and I just remembered that I left it in Amber's fridge! whoops. I went back to her house and spent the night. (:

   Sunday morning I woke up early. Went and got a shower and got dresses and went back to bed (: I laid there and texted my honey til it was time for me to get up and get ready (for real) for church. Church was really good that morning! After church we ate and then went to Mackenzie's house and stayed there til time for church. And Derrick came and took communion with me! (: well...not with me...but ya kno! ;) It was sweet (:

    Todayyyyyyyyy was the first day of my senior year! yahhhhhhhhhooooooooo!!!!!!!! (: (: (:

    Ok. I'm collected now. (: It went fairly well. I have english 4 honors.. Bio 2 honors... Gov't and Econ.... and Trig honors. Yippieyaacowboy. Word has spread that I am getting married so there was A LOT of questions today. But I'm kinda used to that (:

    I'm now at home and tuned into Bachelor Pad! (: Hope it's as awesome as I think it'll be. (: Derrick's at practice and I can't wait til he gets home (: I miss every second that I'm not with him or not being able to talk to him. January 6th....can you please hurry your lazy tail up? (: Thanks.
